Here, you will encounter a KotHaar Bouncer who demands a password. Engage in dialogue with the bouncer and select any of the three initial dialogue options. After choosing the third option, you will receive a “KotHaar numbering for dummies scroll.” Inspect this scroll within your Quest inventory. Then, speak to the bouncer once more and select the option that reads “Two triangles separated by a line?”. This correct password will grant you access to the Cave of Screams. The bouncer will issue a warning that KotHaar-Zi has undergone a transformation, and their core must be forged into a new body, now under the control of Fuzan.
Upon entering the Cave of Screams, you will immediately face two hostile KotHaar-Xil and a hostile Reforged Zi. You must defeat all three of these enemies. Once Reforged Zi is defeated, the Zi Core will appear on the ground. Collect this core and then exit the cave.
Rewards and Completion
After successfully retrieving the Zi Core and exiting the Cave of Screams, return to the KotHaar Bouncer. The bouncer will acknowledge your assistance with Zi and present you with your reward: 1x Plate of Pure Obsidian. This item is significant as it unlocks the recipe for the Obsidian Cape.
