Goblin Diplomacy is a secondary quest in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, initially released on April 15, 2025. If you choose to find an amulet first, head to a goblin camp in the southeast of Bramblemead Valley. This camp features a ruined castle surrounded by a moat. After defeating any goblins in the area, descend into the lower level of the ruined structure. On the right, you will encounter Thorny Vines blocking access. To proceed, you need a logging axe and a Woodcutting level of 20 to cut these vines. Once cleared, interact with the reliquary to obtain a Bandosian Amulet, which will automatically begin the quest.
Alternatively, if you start by talking to Zanik, she will instruct you to investigate the Outlook Ruins to the north-east or the Adventurer’s Guild to the south, as both are overrun with goblins and hold clues to the prophecy.

Finding the Bandosian Amulets {#bandosian-amulets}
The quest requires you to retrieve two Bandosian Amulets. You can start by searching either the Outlook Ruins or the Adventurer’s Guild. Both locations contain a reliquary with an amulet, but only one can be looted initially. The amulet in the unchosen location will be stolen by a Garou Druid.
- Outlook Ruins: The reliquary here is in a tucked-away corner. Bilegut, a caged goblin, is found outside.
- Adventurer’s Guild: The reliquary is blocked by Thorny Vines, requiring 20 Woodcutting to cut. This area is generally more dangerous due to a higher concentration of goblins. Wormelbow, another caged goblin, is located outside.
It is recommended to obtain the first amulet from the Outlook Ruins due to fewer goblins and no Woodcutting requirement for the reliquary itself.
Before looting, you can optionally speak to either Bilegut (outside the Outlook Ruins) or Wormelbow (outside the Adventurer’s Guild). For a steak, they will reveal the exact location of their respective reliquary.
After securing the first amulet, you must proceed to the other location. For example, if you got the amulet from the ruins, go to the guild. You don’t need to defeat all goblins; focus on clearing the area around the caged goblin. Speak to this goblin, who will inform you that a Garou-beastman has taken the second amulet to a cave in the Whispering Swamp.
The cave is situated at the very bottom of the Whispering Swamp. To reach it, you must first descend safely into the lower area of the swamp. If you stay on higher ground, you will be above the cave entrance and unable to locate it. Once at the base of the waterfall, walk south to find a lit cave entrance.
Defeating the Garou Druid {#defeating-the-garou-druid}
Inside the swamp cave, you will encounter the Garou Druid, who possesses the second Bandosian Amulet. This boss is challenging and can inflict a potent poison.
Combat Strategy:
- Anti-poison: The Garou Druid’s homing poison attacks can be lethal. It is highly recommended to use an Anti-poison Potion as it provides immunity to poison, negating this significant threat. An Anti-poison Potion can be crafted with 1 Harralander, 1 Bittercap Mushroom, 1 Clay Vessel, and 1 Charcoal.
- Ranged/Magic: The Garou Druid is easier to defeat using magic attacks from a distance, allowing you to avoid its poisonous thorns.
- Melee (Alternative): If engaging in melee, aim to stay close to the Druid. This can force it into an AoE attack that briefly staggers you but deals no damage. Continuously rush the Druid after recovering from this stagger to maintain close combat.
- Dodge: Be prepared to dodge its poison thorn attacks if fighting at range.
Upon defeating the Garou Druid, you will obtain the second Bandosian Amulet.
Rewards {#rewards}
Once you have both Bandosian Amulets, return to Zanik. She will thank you, and the quest will be completed. Your reward for completing Goblin Diplomacy is the Goblin War Banner cloak. This item provides increased melee, ranged, and magic defenses when equipped.
